We can use short or long lasting dermal fillers with an expected result duration of 6-18 months depending on which filler is used. Hyaluronic acid filler is natural and the enzyme hyaluronidase which is naturally present in your body will break down the filler over time.
Yes, this is a reversible treatment and in the very unlikely event you are dissatisfied with the results, the product can be broken down by use of hyaluronidase enzyme injections. Thankfully, we rarely ever have to do this!
Some patients may experience mild pain during the dermal filler injections, but a topical numbing cream is optional if required pre-treatment. You may experience slight bruising or swelling around the injected area, but this will subside after a few days and you should be able to cover this with makeup very easily. Dr Farah will provide in-depth aftercare advice for all of her patients post treatment with cheek fillers.
